Psychotherapy Services

We work on what you are most concerned about. Unexpected or chosen life transitions, adversities, major losses, trauma recovery, gender identity/expression, sexuality, intimate partner relationship dynamics, parenting, pre/post natal adjustment, coping with distress, major losses/grief, intrusive thoughts, managing anxiety, overcoming phobias, low mood, emotional turmoil, balance, resilience.

Treatment begins with an assessment of your past lived experiences, current emotional needs & the changes you desire.

After the initial appointment, I present a plan & estimate of time needed to work on the concerns you bring.

I provide trauma and attachment informed treatment from an anti-oppressive framework, and a wholistic approach. I guide you to find balance in every life sphere, so you can function optimally, and live with purpose and meaning.

I have extensive experience with children/teens/families, currently I am restricting my practice to focus on individual work with adults 18+

Post Master Degree Training

Psychotherapy continues to evolve as neuroscience and psychology are better understood.

I have steadily added to my training in new evidence-based treatment approaches. Treatment is tailored, drawing from any and all of these modalities as needed.

One approach does not fit all, and most approaches have valuable offerings.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)
  • PE (Prolonged Exposure)
  • DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)
  • CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy)
  • ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)
  • Narrative
  • Power & Control
  • Family Systems

What Can Psychotherapy Do For Me?

If you are feeling discontent, confused, suffering, numb, & not where you want to be in life, psychotherapy can help. Together we set a new trajectory for you. Your path to healing, building resilience, and personal growth lies within you.

I draw from science, psychology & therapeutic arts. We create safe space together to:  befriend overwhelming emotions, process complex experiences, reset your nervous system, reconnect with shut down brain networks, tap into your own inner wisdom & cultivate healthy, meaningful connections, including your relationship with yourself.
